Chalkboard Gallery Wall- Final Reveal

This weekend, Jim added the fifth and final diy chalkboard to our gallery wall. He also fixed the others, which were really crooked. He used self adhesive rubber bumpers, which can be found at your local hardware store, to straighten out the chalkboard which were crooked.
They are super easy to use, you just apply them to the back of the frame on the corners. Then straighten them to where you would like. The bumpers are also helpful to protect furniture, we have similar ones on our bedroom furniture, which hold the glass tops onto our dresser and nightstands. I'm not actually sure they are supposed to be used for straightening wall hangings, but Jim thought they would work and they did, which is helpful since a few of the frames were looking too crooked to me.

Are there any products you use for something other than their intended use?

  1. Yay! It looks SO GOOD! Question: where did you get your sideboard from? We're on the hunt for a buffet for our dining room that has wine storage!

    1. Thanks! We got it at Jordan's Furniture, which I think is regional. I'll check it out tonight and see who makes it. The storage is great!

    2. I just looked it up and it's not for sale anymore. This is where we got it and the site has the names of other manufacturers, if you see any you like, maybe they sell them in your area: http://jordans.com/Servers%20and%20Sideboards.aspx#items=100

      Good luck with your search!

  2. Love it!! Looks so cute with the eclectic mix of frames! And I love those little rubber bumpers, I use them to protect where doors swing open and hit something else. :)

  3. Your wall looks great! I'm going to have to look into these, because crooked frames always drive me nuts--I have to constantly fix them.
